For over 33 years the Annual Texas Forum conference has brought together attorneys, paralegals, educators, and students for instruction on how to make use of all the resources available to build a better and stronger law practice. This year, the 34th Annual meeting meets in Austin and will focus on fine tuning the partnership between the attorney and paralegal.
The day-long forum from the TexasBar CLE will cover guidelines for what tasks a paralegal can perform, how to recover fees, the most recent technology, communication and supervision, and the team’s responsibility in maintaining attorney/client privilege. This powerful course will provide you with tools you can take back to your office and start using right away or successfully launch your new career as a paralegal.
CAPA is offering two Austin-area paralegal students an opportunity to attend the forum as part of the prestigious Nancy McLaughlin Scholarship Fund. The scholarship covers the cost of the forum and a complimentary lunch at CAPA's March membership meeting on March 23rd at 11:45 am at Chez Zee. Click here for a brochure and scholarship information. Deadline for scholarship entry is Feb. 29th. Questions regarding the scholarship may be emailed by clicking here.
