Mission Statement

CAPA's mission is "to serve and promote the paralegal profession."

Goals & Purposes

1. To further education among members of the profession.
2. To promote & protect the general professional interests of paralegals in Austin, Texas, & the surrounding area.
3. To involve paralegals in the shaping of guidelines affecting the regulation & development of the paralegal profession.
4. To provide a forum for an exchange of viewpoints on matters of professional interest.
5. To fairly represent both public & private sector paralegal interests.
6. To establish good fellowship among Association members, NALA, & members of the legal community.
7. To encourage a high order of ethical & professional attainment.
8. To cooperate with bar associations & other law-related organizations.
9. To support & carry out the programs, purposes, aims & goals of NALA.
